Safe Operating Procedures
Operators must familiarize themselves with the vehicle's condition before use; unauthorized operation is prohibited, and carrying passengers is strictly forbidden. Overloading or off-center loading of cargo is strictly prohibited. When starting and driving, accelerate gradually after slowing down; avoid prolonged high-speed acceleration. Slow down and observe the surroundings when turning; operation in blind spots is strictly prohibited. Ensure the forks are fully inserted under the pallet before lifting; rapid lowering during unloading is prohibited. After use, lower the forks to the lowest position and park the vehicle in the designated area. Batteries must be charged promptly and maintained regularly to prevent over-discharge and over-charge.
Daily Care and Periodic Maintenance
Daily care should be performed once a day, focusing on keeping the vehicle body and battery surface clean, checking that power cables are secure, and verifying proper chain tension. Level 1 maintenance is performed weekly; in addition to daily care tasks, the focus is on checking the operational status of components, inspecting fasteners for looseness, verifying appropriate chain tension, checking the smooth vertical movement of the inner and outer masts, inspecting hydraulic connections for leaks, and checking mechanical parts for abnormal wear and electrical components for abnormal temperature rise or sparking. Level 2 maintenance covers mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Mechanical maintenance is performed every six months, involving the lubrication of drive wheel gears, bearings, and rotating joints, as well as checking fasteners for security, wheel rotation flexibility, and fork lifting/lowering functionality. Hydraulic maintenance is performed every 12 months, involving checks on the cylinder condition (looking for internal or external leaks), the integrity of hydraulic connections and hoses, and the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil (which should generally be replaced every 12 months). Electrical maintenance is performed every three months, involving checks on battery electrolyte specific gravity and terminal cleanliness; if necessary, adjust the specific gravity to specifications, clean the terminals, apply a thin layer of Vaseline, and tighten them securely. Additionally, verify the reliability of electrical connections and the proper functioning of switches and insulation. During daily operation of the electric pallet truck, the battery should be kept free of dust. Avoid both overcharging and undercharging, and ensure the area is well-ventilated during the charging process. Regularly check that the electrolyte level is sufficient. Avoid deep discharging during use; specifically, the charge level should not drop below 20%. Use a damp cloth to clean off dust to prevent static electricity. Pay close attention to the positive and negative terminal markings when connecting the battery. The battery fluid is corrosive; in the event of contact, rinse the affected area thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
