(1) When using a reach truck, pay special attention to timely battery charging and proper battery maintenance. Use the correct charging method: ensure the battery is fully charged without overcharging it.

(2) During operation, minimize prolonged, long-distance acceleration. After the vehicle starts and gains speed, maintain a steady position on the accelerator pedal; if road conditions are favorable, the vehicle will continue to accelerate. To slow down, release the accelerator pedal and gently press the brake pedal; this allows for the effective use of deceleration energy. If the vehicle is equipped with regenerative braking, kinetic energy generated during deceleration can be recovered. When driving downhill, do not cut power to the drive motor; instead, gently press the brake pedal to engage regenerative braking, utilizing the vehicle's downward momentum to reduce battery energy consumption.

(3) While the vehicle is in motion, do not mistake the forward/reverse direction switch for the steering signal switch. Avoid pressing the brake pedal all the way to the floor unless emergency braking is required. If the battery level is found to be low during operation (indicated by the battery gauge, low-power warning light, or other alarm systems), recharge the battery as soon as possible to prevent excessive discharge.
